An Afternoon in Historic Ellicott City

For those of you that aren’t aware my little town of Ellicott City has been through a lot! We survived a terrible flood during the Summer of 2016, and much of the quaint shopping district was destroyed.
So, when my young client Kami asked if I thought it was still possible to capture her Senior portraits in Ellicott City’s historic district I honestly wasn’t sure.
The photo gods smiled upon us as we explored the areas around the historic courthouse and the Emory United Methodist Church built in 1837. With every twist and turn, we found another picturesque backdrop for the perfect shot.
